WELCOME!! My name is Dr. Risa Potters, and I am the founder & CEO of The Smart of Living. I am so grateful that you found us, and I look forward to working with you!

My programs, rooted in Lifestyle Medicine, will enable you to make smarter choices about your health.

First, we will look at what and how we eat, smartly. We will focus on identifying (and enjoying!) unprocessed real foods that help you achieve your specific goals.

Next, we pay attention to good postural alignment, which creates a coexistence with the pull of gravity.  We teach ways to lengthen and strengthen the spine, bones, and muscles, promoting better balance, preventing falls and fractures, and positively impacting the gut, brain and heart connections.

Finally, we examine the impact of Quality and Quantity of Sleep on Memory, Clarity, Coping Skills, and more. We learn habits such as breathing techniques and Meditation which allow us to fall into Rest using the hours we sleep (“The Detox Hours”) to clear, renew and begin again.

Ultimately, I want to teach you to trust in your own bodies, believe you are in control in so many ways, and most importantly, trust in yourselves!
